The Challenge
An agriculture marketplace must serve users with different devices, connectivity, literacy and information needs. A farmer listing produce and a buyer sourcing inventory may share a transaction but not the same language, workflow or priorities.
Commerce alone was not enough for the product vision. Weather context, access to scheme information and expert guidance needed to sit beside buying and selling without turning the interface into a crowded portal.
What made the problem difficult
The work combined customer-facing experience with operational rules behind the scenes. The product therefore had to be designed as a system of roles, states and owned data—not only as a collection of pages.
Our Solution
DevKeyTech organised the platform around direct farmer-to-buyer trade, with distinct listing, discovery, order and logistics flows. Multilingual content architecture supports English, Urdu and Punjabi rather than treating translation as a final visual layer.
Weather and government-scheme information are presented as task-relevant modules. The product separates informational content from transaction states so an update or advisory cannot be mistaken for an order action.
Delivered capabilities
- Farmer listings and buyer discovery
- Multilingual information architecture
- Weather-information modules
- Government-scheme resource hub
- Logistics and order tracking
The implementation used staged delivery so core workflows could be reviewed before secondary features increased the surface area.
Results & Impact
The confirmed result is a delivered product experience covering the capabilities above. Commercial performance, conversion, time saved and user-adoption figures are not published here because a verified analytics export and approved client interview are still pending.
Measured outcomes: TBD. These fields should be updated only when production data and the client’s approval are available.
Engineering lesson
Designing for field conditions means testing language, device performance and weak connections from the beginning. Desktop-only prototypes hide the constraints that shape real adoption.
