Motion Graphics forAds
Explain what you do in seconds with clean animation that holds attention in a feed and works even when no camera footage is available.
Motion Graphics for Ads: what the work involves
Some products cannot be filmed easily: software, financial services, abstract processes or products still in development. Static images flatten the idea, and long explanations lose viewers before the benefit lands. The growth problem is communicating something intangible quickly enough to earn a click, and doing it in a style that stays recognisable across every ad you run.
DevKey designs motion systems rather than one-off animations. We agree a visual language of colours, type, icons and movement rules, then build ad templates that can be re-skinned for new offers without starting over. Scripts are written for sound-off viewing, storyboards approved before animation begins, and exports prepared for each placement, so the same asset can serve social, display and app store listings.
Core features
Motion style guide
Defined colours, typography, easing and icon rules that keep every animation recognisably yours across campaigns and channels.
Storyboard before animation
Frame-by-frame boards agreed with you early, so changes happen on paper and not during expensive rendering.
Explainer and product-demo animation
Screen mockups, icons and kinetic text that show how something works in under a minute without live footage.
Reusable ad templates
Editable animation files where headlines, offers and imagery swap out quickly, giving you fast variants for testing.
Logo stings and end cards
Short branded openers and closers that make ads consistent and give a clear call to action on the final frame.
Format and accessibility exports
Versions for several aspect ratios, with captions, readable contrast and lightweight files for fast loading.
What we get right before launch
Too much movement
Busy animation can distract from the message and trigger accessibility issues. We limit flashing and keep motion purposeful.
File weight and placement limits
Display and app-store placements restrict file size and length. We build to those limits from the start.
Claims shown as graphics
Charts, badges or comparison tables in animation still count as advertising claims. We keep them accurate and sourced from your own data.

Common questions, answered
When is animation better than live-action?
Animation suits abstract products, software, processes and anything that is hard or costly to film. Live-action tends to win where trust in people, places or physical products matters most. Many campaigns combine both.
Can you match our existing brand style?
Yes. We take your logo, palette and fonts as the base, then extend them into motion rules. If brand guidelines are thin, we can build a simple motion layer along with a lightweight identity refresh.
Do we get the source files?
That is agreed upfront. Where source files are included, your team or another designer can edit templates later. We document layers and fonts so handover is clear and nothing is locked away.
How quickly can new variants be made?
Once a template exists, headline and offer swaps are far quicker than a fresh build. Timelines depend on how different the new variant is, which we confirm when scoping each batch.
