NGO FundraisingMarketing

Tell your cause honestly, reach people who care and build a donor base that gives more than once, with fundraising marketing that respects the people you serve.

NGO Fundraising Marketing: what the work involves

Non-profits face a double challenge: a compelling mission and very little marketing capacity. Many rely on a few large donors, annual appeals and social posts that earn sympathy but few gifts. Donors who give once and hear nothing afterwards rarely give again, so organisations spend each year chasing new supporters when they could be deepening relationships with existing ones.

DevKey builds fundraising as a journey from awareness to first gift to ongoing support. We craft story-led campaigns with consent from the people featured, design donation pages with low friction for local and international payment methods, and send thank-you and impact updates that keep donors informed. For eligible organisations we set up Google Ad Grants, and we report in terms of donors, repeat giving and campaign cost rather than reach.

Planned for

What we get right before launch

Ethical imagery and beneficiary consent

Photographing children, patients or disaster-affected people requires consent and care. We favour dignified storytelling over distressing images, which protects the people you serve and your reputation.

Fundraising legality and ad platform approval

Charity fundraising is regulated differently in Pakistan, Australia and the US, and ad platforms may require charity verification. We confirm registration documents and payment compliance before launching.

Donor data protection

Donor names, amounts and contact details are sensitive. We use consent-based email lists, honour unsubscribe requests and avoid uploading personal data to ad platforms without permission.

NGO Fundraising Marketing FAQ

Common questions, answered

Can our NGO get free Google advertising?

Eligible registered non-profits can apply to Google Ad Grants, subject to Google's rules and country availability. We assess eligibility, prepare the account and manage campaigns to the programme's conditions.

How do you protect donor and beneficiary privacy?

We obtain consent for featured people, avoid exposing identifying details, keep donor data in secure tools and only email people who opted in. Your own privacy notice is updated to match how data is used.

Do you support Ramadan appeals?

Yes. Ramadan is a major giving season with higher competition and ad costs, so we plan early, prepare creative in advance and structure reminders around the last ten nights and Eid-ul-Fitr.

How is success measured for an NGO?

Funds raised, number of donors, repeat donations and cost to acquire a donor, alongside volunteer sign-ups where relevant. We report these plainly and compare campaigns so you know which appeals earn the strongest response.
