WordPress SEOServices

WordPress is flexible enough to ruin its own SEO. We untangle themes, plugins and archives so your content gets crawled and shown properly.

WordPress SEO Services: what the work involves

Installing an SEO plugin is the easy part. Years of themes, page builders, abandoned plugins, tag archives and media attachment pages leave many WordPress sites with thousands of indexable URLs that offer nothing to a searcher, plus slow templates that frustrate mobile visitors. Owners see a green traffic-light in the plugin and assume the work is done.

We examine the installation as a whole. Which post types, taxonomies and archives should be indexed, which plugin handles titles, sitemaps and schema, whether caching and image delivery are set up properly, and whether the builder produces sane HTML. We make changes in staging, configure the SEO plugin to match a written indexation plan, and then confirm the result in Search Console after launch.

What we build

Core features

01

Plugin and theme audit

We list what each plugin does, remove duplicates and abandoned code, and test the theme's output for markup quality.

02

Indexation plan

Clear decisions on tags, authors, date archives, attachment pages and search results, implemented through plugin settings and templates.

03

SEO plugin configuration

Yoast, Rank Math or SEOPress is set up with sensible templates for titles, schema and sitemaps instead of defaults.

04

Speed and caching set-up

Page caching, image compression, modern formats and script deferral tuned against field data, not just a lab score.

05

Permalink and redirect hygiene

Clean URL structures with tracked redirects, avoiding chains created by successive redesigns.

06

Content and taxonomy clean-up

Merging thin posts, consolidating overlapping categories and refreshing material that deserves another life.

Planned for

What we get right before launch

Plugin conflicts after updates

Updating a theme or plugin can silently change canonical tags, schema or robots output. We recommend staging and a post-update crawl for anything touching SEO.

Page builders add weight

Visual builders can wrap content in deep markup and heavy scripts. Sometimes the best fix is a lighter template for key pages rather than another optimisation plugin.

Security and SEO overlap

Hacked sites often carry injected spam pages and links. Outdated plugins are a common entry point, so keeping the install maintained is part of protecting search visibility.

WordPress SEO Services FAQ

Common questions, answered

Which SEO plugin is best for WordPress?

Yoast, Rank Math and SEOPress all handle the essentials. The choice matters less than configuration. We usually keep whatever you already run, unless it conflicts with your theme, and set it up deliberately.

Will optimising WordPress break my site?

Not if changes are made in staging and tested. We back up before any release, apply updates in a controlled order and crawl the site afterwards to confirm nothing important changed unexpectedly.

My site is slow. Is that an SEO problem?

Speed influences user experience and is part of Google's page experience signals, though it is rarely the sole reason a site underperforms. We measure real-user data first and fix the templates that visitors actually use.

Should I move away from WordPress?

Usually not. A well maintained WordPress site can perform strongly. We only suggest a platform change when the technical limits clearly outweigh the cost of migrating, and then we plan redirects carefully.
