Job PortalDevelopment

A job board is a two-sided market: employers want qualified applicants, candidates want real vacancies. Quality control decides which side stays.

Job Portal Development: what the work involves

Job boards live on trust. Candidates quickly learn which sites are full of expired, duplicated or fraudulent vacancies, and they stop returning. Employers learn which ones deliver a flood of unsuitable CVs, and they stop paying. In Pakistan, scam postings that ask applicants for fees or personal documents are a particular problem, and a portal that does not verify employers becomes a vehicle for them. Search quality, freshness and moderation are therefore the product, more than the page design.

We design employer accounts with company verification, posting limits by plan and a moderation queue before listings go live. Job records carry title, category, location, salary range if disclosed, experience and expiry, which powers filters and search through Meilisearch or Algolia. Candidates build profiles with CV upload and parsing, apply in a click and receive saved-search alerts. Employers manage an applicant pipeline with stages, notes and messaging, and the admin sees reports on posting quality, reports and abuse.

What we build

Core features

01

Employer verification and posting

Companies register, submit proof of identity and post under plan limits, and unverified accounts face stricter review before a vacancy appears.

02

Candidate profiles and CV parsing

Candidates upload a CV that is parsed into skills, experience and education, then edit the structured profile that employers search.

03

Search, filters and alerts

Keyword, location, salary, experience and job type filters, plus saved searches that notify candidates by email when new matches appear.

04

Applicant tracking for employers

Applications move through stages such as shortlisted, interview and offer, with notes, ratings and message templates on each candidate.

05

Moderation and fraud signals

Automated checks for fee requests and suspicious contact details flag listings for review before candidates ever see them.

06

Plans, credits and featured jobs

Posting packages, featured slots and expiry rules are enforced by the system and ready to link to subscriptions or invoices.

Planned for

What we get right before launch

Scam and fake job prevention

Fake postings harm candidates and the portal's name. Verification, reporting tools and clear rules against charging applicants are non-negotiable from launch.

Candidate privacy

CVs contain addresses, phone numbers and ID details. Let candidates control visibility, mask contact data from browsers and delete accounts fully on request.

Fair hiring and bias

Filtering by gender, age or religion in job posts may breach law or company policy. We build neutral filters and let you set posting standards.

Job Portal Development FAQ

Common questions, answered

How do you keep fake jobs out?

Employers are verified, listings enter a moderation queue and automated checks flag phrases such as registration fees. Candidates can report a job in one click, and repeat offenders are blocked.

Can we charge employers to post jobs?

Yes. The portal supports packages, per-post credits and featured placements. Payment can be by card, wallet or invoice recorded by the admin, and limits apply automatically.

Can candidates apply with one click?

Yes. Once a candidate has a profile and CV, applying sends it to the employer with a short note, and the candidate can follow the status in their account.

What makes a job portal larger than a normal site?

Two user types, moderation, search at volume and the commercial rules for who can post. These drive the scope far more than the number of pages does.
