Manufacturing Company WebsiteDevelopment

A manufacturer's website that answers a buyer's technical questions first and turns serious interest into a complete request for quotation.

Manufacturing Company Website Development: what the work involves

Industrial buyers search differently from consumers. They look for a product specification, a minimum order quantity, a material grade, a certification and evidence that a plant can deliver on schedule. A manufacturer with a decade of export orders may have a website that is only a company history page, so overseas buyers fall back on marketplaces and sourcing agents. Every enquiry that arrives incomplete costs the sales team a round of emails just to learn the basics.

We organise the site around the buyer's checklist. Product families have specification tables, downloadable datasheets and application notes. A plant page covers machinery, capacity ranges, quality control steps and certifications, with a factory tour in photos or video. The request for quotation form collects quantity, specification, destination and delivery timeline, then routes to the right salesperson. Content can be prepared in English first, with Chinese, Arabic or other languages added if export markets demand them.

Machinery lists, shifts, production ranges and lead times presented as facts a buyer can plan around.

04

Certifications and audit readiness

A page for ISO, social compliance and test reports, with documents available to approved buyers.

Planned for

What we get right before launch

Technical accuracy

A wrong dimension in a datasheet becomes a dispute. Product data should have a named owner and a review step before publishing.

Export sensitivity

Buyer lists, private-label work and some customer names are confidential. We separate public content from gated documents.

Catalogue size and updates

Large part catalogues need a structured import rather than hand-built pages, with a plan for who maintains it when the range changes.

Manufacturing Company Website Development FAQ

Common questions, answered

Can we publish a catalogue of thousands of parts?

Yes, using a structured import from your spreadsheet or ERP export, with search and filters by attribute. We would agree the data fields first, because clean data matters more than page design at that scale.

Can buyers see prices?

That is your call. Many manufacturers hide prices and use the RFQ route, while others show indicative rates to logged-in trade accounts. Both approaches are possible with the same product data.

Can the RFQ go into our CRM or ERP?

Requests can be emailed, saved in a database and pushed to a CRM through an API or webhook. Direct ERP integration depends on what your system exposes and is scoped separately.

Do you handle multiple languages?

Yes. We build the structure for language versions and can work with your translators. Technical terms need review by someone who knows the industry, since machine translation often gets specifications wrong.
