Restaurant AppDevelopment
Your own restaurant app for menus, reservations, loyalty and takeaway, so regulars order from you instead of from an aggregator.
Restaurant App Development: what the work involves
An independent restaurant or a small chain gives away a large share of each order to listing platforms, and gets no customer data back in return. Your guests are anonymous, your offers cannot reach them, and a bad review on someone else's app is out of your hands. A branded app turns first-time visitors into an audience you can actually talk to.
We build around the dining room as well as the delivery bag. Guests browse the live menu, book a table, pre-order for pickup and collect stamps toward a free dish. Staff manage everything from a simple dashboard, and the app connects to your point-of-sale where one exists so that menu changes and sold-out items are updated in a single place.
Core features
Live digital menu
Photos, descriptions, allergens and prices update instantly, with items hidden automatically when the kitchen marks them unavailable.
Table reservations
Guests pick a party size and slot against real table capacity, receive a confirmation, and get a reminder before arrival.
Pickup pre-ordering
Order ahead, choose a collection time and pay in the app, with the kitchen receiving a timed ticket so food is ready when the guest walks in.
Loyalty and stamp cards
A digital card replaces the paper punch card, with rewards redeemed by a staff-scanned code to prevent misuse.
Branch selector
Guests choose an outlet by distance and see its opening hours, menu variations and current wait status.
Offers and event notifications
Announce a live music night or a Ramadan iftar deal to guests who opted in, with targeting by branch and visit history.
What we get right before launch
POS integration reality
Many local restaurants run older or closed billing software. We assess its export or API options early, and fall back to a lightweight order inbox when integration is not practical.
Loyalty abuse
Rewards invite gaming, such as sharing codes or collecting stamps for orders never served. Staff-confirmed redemption and per-visit limits close the obvious loopholes.
Seasonal menu churn
Menus change with seasons and festivals. The admin side must let a non-technical manager edit them in minutes, otherwise the app drifts out of date and loses trust.

Common questions, answered
Will a restaurant app replace Foodpanda or similar platforms?
Not entirely, since aggregators bring discovery. The goal is to move your repeat customers to direct ordering, where you keep the relationship and avoid listing commission on every reorder.
Can guests order while seated at the table?
Yes. A QR code on each table can open the menu and let guests order and pay from their phones, with the ticket routed to the kitchen and tied to a table number.
Do we need a delivery team to use it?
No. The app works for dine-in reservations and pickup alone. Delivery can be added later, with your own riders or a courier partner, when demand justifies it.
How long do menu changes take to appear?
Immediately after saving in the admin dashboard, because the app reads the menu from the backend rather than from a bundled file, so no store update is needed.
