School WebsiteDevelopment

Parents choose a school by what they can verify: curriculum, fees, results, facilities and the people running it. Your site should answer those questions before the first visit.

School Website Development: what the work involves

A school website has two audiences with opposite needs. Prospective parents are comparing several campuses and want clear admission steps, class structure, transport and fee information. Current parents want circulars, datesheets, holiday notices and a way to reach a teacher. When one page tries to serve both, admission leads vanish into a clutter of announcements and the office keeps answering the same calls about dates and uniforms.

We separate the public admissions site from the logged-in parent area. The public side carries campus pages, curriculum details, a staff directory, a gallery and an admission enquiry form that routes to the registrar with the class applied for. The parent side holds notices, downloadable results and fee vouchers, secured per student. Content staff edit through a simple back office, and the structure supports branches so one trust can run several campuses under a shared brand without duplicating pages.

What we build

Core features

01

Admissions enquiry and registration

A form captures the child's age and target class, parent contact and campus preference, then routes to the registrar and stores the enquiry for follow-up.

02

Class and curriculum pages

Each section explains syllabus, subjects, assessment style and co-curricular activities, so parents compare your approach with other schools on real details.

03

Notice board and calendar

Circulars, exam datesheets, holidays and event dates are posted once and shown on a calendar, with a downloadable PDF where the office still needs one.

04

Parent login area

Families sign in to see their own child's notices, results and fee vouchers, with access limited to the students linked to their account.

05

Staff and leadership directory

Teacher profiles with qualifications and subjects, plus the principal's message, show who will actually teach the child.

06

Events and gallery

Sports days, science fairs and graduation photos are published in optimised albums that stay fast on a phone connection.

Planned for

What we get right before launch

Protecting children's images and data

Photos of minors and student records need consent and restricted access. We keep results behind login, avoid naming children in public galleries and let you control what is shared.

Keeping information current

A fee structure from two sessions ago does more harm than none. A named owner and simple editing tools matter more than an elaborate design for long-term accuracy.

Low-bandwidth parents

Many families browse on mobile data. Compressed images, light pages and PDF alternatives keep notices reachable without expensive downloads.

School Website Development FAQ

Common questions, answered

Can parents see their child's results online?

Yes, through a login limited to the linked student. Results can be uploaded by your staff as files or entered through a form, and they are never published on public pages.

Can the school take admission forms online?

It can. The enquiry or application form collects the details your registrar needs and stores them in a list with status. Document uploads such as birth certificates can be added where you want them.

Does it work for a school with multiple campuses?

Yes. Each campus gets its own page with address, map, contact and admission dates, while branding, policies and shared news stay consistent across the group.

Who updates the website after launch?

Your office staff, through a plain editor for notices, events and staff pages. We train the person you nominate, and structural changes stay with us or any developer you choose.
