Software for Lahore's Textile and Apparel Brands

Lahore's apparel and textile brands design seasonal collections and sell through outlets, wholesale accounts and online stores. DevKey builds planning, stock and ordering software for them, working remotely.

The trade, and what it needs from software

Apparel and fabric brands in Lahore design and release collections tied to seasons, weddings and festivals, then sell them through their own boutiques, multi-brand retailers and websites. Lawn launches and festive drops create intense, short selling windows.

What this cluster needs from software is control over styles and sizes as they flow from production into many selling points. Brands want to know which designs are selling where, avoid dead stock at the end of a season and keep wholesale buyers supplied. DevKey builds stock, ordering and storefront tools for fashion workflows and delivers them remotely.

How it runs

How the work flows in Lahore

01

Collections follow the calendar

Designers plan a season, approve samples and release a set of articles with prints, colours and sizes. Production is commissioned in batches, sometimes with outside stitching and printing partners.

02

Selling happens in three places

The brand's own outlets, wholesale buyers who stock several labels, and an online store each draw on the same production runs, yet each is tracked separately.

03

Season end brings clearance

Leftover pieces are discounted or moved between outlets. Knowing exactly what remains, and where, determines how well the clearance is handled.

Common problems

Where things go wrong today

Article-level visibility is thin

Owners know total sales but struggle to see sell-through by design, size and outlet, which hampers decisions about reprints.

Launch-day traffic spikes

A popular drop floods the website at once, and slow pages or failed checkouts cost sales precisely when interest is highest.

Wholesale orders by phone and chat

Buyers send requirements through messages, which are retyped, misread or lost, delaying dispatch and invoices.

Outsourced production tracking

Fabric sent to printers and stitchers is followed by phone, so lead times slip without anyone seeing it early.

Lahore FAQ

Common questions, answered

Can the system handle collections with many sizes and colours?

Yes. Each article carries variants by size and colour, with stock held per variant and per location. Reports show which combinations sell, helping you decide what to reprint or retire before the season closes.

Can our website cope with a big launch day?

We build and test for traffic spikes, using caching and a lean checkout, and can run load tests before a major drop. No site is invincible, but planning for known peaks avoids the most common failures.

Can outlets and the web store share stock?

Yes. One inventory record serves boutiques and the online store, so a sale in either place reduces the same figure. Staff can also reserve pieces for online orders when a size runs low.

Do you also help with product photography and marketing?

Software is our core, but DevKey also offers digital marketing and content support. We can scope those separately so your launch calendar, storefront and campaigns are planned together.
