Madrasa Management SoftwareDevelopment

Student, teacher and boarding records for a madrasa, including daily Quran progress, kept simple enough for staff of any technical comfort.

Madrasa Management Software Development: what the work involves

A madrasa serves students who often board on site, study in several programmes and progress by lesson rather than by marks alone. A hifz student recites daily and a nazra student reads by para, while others follow an Alim curriculum with exams. Registers, hostel lists and donation books are usually separate, so a family's fee position, a boy's progress and the kitchen headcount cannot be seen together.

DevKey builds madrasa software around these realities. Each student has an enrolment record, class or halqa, guardian contacts and a running progress log for sabaq, sabqi and manzil or the curriculum equivalent. Attendance is taken on a phone, hostel and meal registers are tracked, and fees, sponsorships and donations post to a simple ledger. Interfaces can be offered in Urdu and English, with clear, large controls.

What we build

Core features

01

Student and guardian records

Admission details, photographs, class or halqa, guardian contacts and previous study in a single profile per student.

02

Daily progress for hifz and nazra

Teachers record the lesson, revision and quality each day, creating a para-by-para timeline that guardians can be shown.

03

Attendance and leave

Mark attendance by class on a phone, record leave and absences with reasons, and notify guardians when a student is missing.

04

Hostel and meal registers

Room allocation, boarder lists and daily meal counts keep the kitchen and hostel supervisor working from the same numbers.

05

Fees, sponsors and donations

Fee charges, sponsor-supported students and incoming donations are recorded with receipts and one clear ledger for the administration.

06

Exams and result cards

For curriculum programmes, enter marks by subject and print result cards and certificates in your institution's format.

Planned for

What we get right before launch

Bilingual and right-to-left screens

Staff may work mostly in Urdu and Arabic terms. We design right-to-left layouts, Urdu labels and proper script rendering, and test them with your teachers before rollout.

Student privacy and minors

Records involve children. Access is limited to authorised staff, photographs and contact details are protected, and guardian-facing views show only their own child's information.

Low technical confidence

Many users will be new to software. We keep screens few, provide short training sessions and a printed quick guide, and allow paper-style summaries for those who prefer them.

Madrasa Management Software Development FAQ

Common questions, answered

Can teachers record daily hifz progress?

Yes. A short form captures sabaq, sabqi and manzil for each student, with a quality note. Over time it builds a visible record of pace and revision, which supports conversations with guardians and the ustaz.

Does it support Urdu?

Yes. Screens, reports and printed receipts can be shown in Urdu with right-to-left layout, in English, or both. Names and Arabic text display correctly, and we review the wording with your staff.

Can it manage hostel and meal counts?

Yes. Boarders are assigned to rooms and the daily meal count updates from attendance and leave. The kitchen sees the expected number each morning, which reduces both waste and shortage.

Can we track sponsored students?

Yes. A sponsor can be linked to one or several students, payments are recorded against them, and a report shows what each sponsor has contributed and which places remain unfunded.
