Home Services Booking AppDevelopment

A home-services app that connects households with vetted plumbers, electricians and cleaners, and keeps both sides honest on price and punctuality.

Home Services Booking App Development: what the work involves

Finding a reliable electrician in a Pakistani city still means asking a neighbour. Households fear strangers at the door and quotes that change on arrival, while skilled workers lose days waiting for the next call. A directory with phone numbers solves neither problem, because nothing ties a booking to a verified person, a price or a record.

We build the customer app and the provider app together. Customers pick a service, describe the job, choose a time and see a price range up front. Providers receive requests that match their skills and area, accept, and are tracked on the way. Both sides see identity checks and ratings. Payment is held until the job is marked complete, and a support team can step in with the booking history when something goes wrong.

What we build

Core features

01

Service catalogue with fixed price ranges

Households select a service category and see indicative prices before booking, with extras added on approval.

02

Provider matching

Requests go to nearby, verified providers who have the right skill, with the first acceptance winning the job.

03

Scheduled and instant bookings

A booking can be for now or for a future slot, with reminders and a reschedule option for either side.

04

Identity and background verification

Providers submit CNIC, references and a photo, and the app shows a verified badge only after your team approves them.

05

In-app chat and call masking

Customers and providers communicate without exchanging private phone numbers until the job is confirmed.

06

Ratings, support and disputes

Both sides rate the job, and a support console handles complaints, refunds and provider suspensions.

Planned for

What we get right before launch

Safety for customers and workers

Strangers entering homes need real vetting, and providers also need a way to report unsafe jobs. We build verification, emergency contacts and incident reporting from the start.

Supply before demand

A service app with no providers in a district frustrates users. We launch area by area, recruiting and onboarding providers before opening bookings in that zone.

Price changes on site

The usual dispute is a quote that changes after the technician arrives. In-app quotes require customer approval for any extra work, and both sides can see the history.

Home Services Booking App Development FAQ

Common questions, answered

How do you stop users and providers dealing outside the app?

By offering value inside it: payment protection, warranty on work, ratings and rebooking. We also mask phone numbers until a job is confirmed, though a determined pair can always move off the platform.

Which services can be included?

Anything delivered at a customer's location: plumbing, electrical, cleaning, AC servicing, pest control, painting, carpentry, beauty at home. Each category has its own questions, price logic and provider skill tags.

Can providers set their own prices?

Either way. You can fix prices by category, allow providers to quote within a band, or let customers receive competing quotes. The best model depends on how standard the jobs are.

How are providers paid?

After the customer confirms completion, the platform deducts its commission and credits the provider's ledger, paying out on a schedule by wallet or bank. Cash jobs are tracked against the commission owed.
