Event Management AppDevelopment
An app for the attendee in the venue: agenda, map, speakers, networking and live announcements, with organisers in control behind the scenes.
Event Management App Development: what the work involves
Event attendees carry a printed schedule that is wrong by ten in the morning. Rooms change, a speaker cancels, and the only way to tell people is a shout from the stage. Sponsors pay for visibility yet cannot show anyone what they got, and organisers rarely learn which sessions were full or empty.
We build the event app as a live companion. Attendees build a personal agenda from sessions, read speaker profiles, find booths on a floor plan and ask questions or vote in polls. Organisers push schedule changes instantly, with a smart notification to those who saved the affected session. Sponsors get lead scanning and exposure data, and a post-event report shows attendance and engagement per session.
Core features
Personal agenda
Attendees star sessions and receive reminders, with clash warnings when two saved talks overlap.
Speaker and exhibitor directory
Profiles, session details and booth locations on a venue map, searchable by topic or company.
Live polls and Q&A
Audiences vote and submit questions from their phones, and moderators curate what appears on the big screen.
Attendee networking
Opt-in profiles, QR badge scanning and meeting requests so contacts made in a hall are not lost.
Instant schedule changes
Room switches and cancellations push to those affected, so the schedule in everyone's pocket stays right.
Sponsor lead capture and reports
Booth staff scan badges to capture leads, and organisers get attendance and engagement data afterwards.
What we get right before launch
Venue connectivity
Thousands of phones overwhelm a hall's Wi-Fi and the mobile network. The agenda, map and speaker data cache on the device, and only polls and chat need a live connection.
Attendee data and consent
Sharing attendee details with sponsors needs explicit opt-in. Networking features are off by default and badge scanning reveals only what the attendee agreed to share.
One-off audience
Attendees download the app for a single day. We offer a quick join by QR code and a web version, so the app does not require installation to be useful.

Common questions, answered
Do attendees have to download an app?
We recommend offering both. A progressive web version opens from a QR code with no install, and the native app suits repeat events and conference series where people return each year.
Can sponsors capture leads at their booths?
Yes. Booth staff scan attendee badges to record contacts, and attendees who agreed to share see their details exported to the sponsor afterwards. Consent is captured at registration.
Does it work for weddings or private events?
Yes, in a simpler form: guest lists, itineraries, venue directions, photo sharing and updates. Private events typically need invitation-only access and a short lifespan after the day.
Can it connect to our registration or ticketing system?
Often yes, so attendees log in with their ticket and the app already knows their sessions. We can integrate with an existing platform or provide ticketing from the same system.
