Mobile App Development

Sports Club AppDevelopment

Clubs run on volunteers and group chats. An app replaces the scattered spreadsheets with one place for members, fixtures, fees and bookings.

Sports Club App Development: what the work involves

A sports club app serves cricket clubs, football academies, padel and badminton courts, gyms and school teams. The business problem is administration: coaches chase fees by message, captains post line-ups in chat, and members miss matches because a venue changed. Every hour spent on that is an hour not spent coaching or growing membership.

DevKey builds club apps with member records, teams and age groups, a fixture calendar, attendance, ground or court booking and fee tracking. The app runs on Flutter or React Native with a Supabase or Node.js backend. Coaches publish squads and results from the phone, parents receive reminders, and the committee gets a web dashboard showing who has paid and who turned up.

What we build

Core features

01

Members, teams and roles

Profiles with age group, position and guardian contact, plus roles for admins, coaches, captains and parents with matching permissions.

02

Fixtures and availability

A calendar of matches and training with one-tap availability replies, so captains see who can play before selecting a squad.

03

Ground and court booking

Slot-based booking with hold timers, recurring bookings for coaching blocks and payment at checkout through local wallets or cards.

04

Fees and subscriptions

Monthly or seasonal fees with reminders, partial payments and a ledger that shows outstanding balances to the committee at a glance.

05

Squad announcements and chat

Team channels and push notices for line-ups, venue changes and weather cancellations, replacing noisy general groups.

06

Results and player records

Scores, scorecards and basic season statistics for each player, giving members something to look back on and share.

Planned for

What we get right before launch

Minors and parental access

Many members are children. Guardian accounts, limited public profile data and careful handling of photos and contact details are essential for safety and trust.

Double booking and no-shows

Courts and grounds are shared resources. Atomic slot locking, cancellation windows and deposit rules prevent clashes and empty slots.

Volunteer-friendly administration

Committees rotate and are not technical. We keep admin tasks simple, templated and recoverable, so a new treasurer can take over without training.

Sports Club App Development FAQ

Common questions, answered

Can the app handle both memberships and one-off bookings?

Yes. Recurring membership fees and pay-per-use court or ground bookings can sit in the same system, with separate pricing rules and one combined view of each member's payments.

How are parents involved?

Parents get a guardian login linked to their children, with fixtures, reminders, fee notices and attendance. Children can have limited profiles so contact details and photos are not exposed publicly.

Can we collect fees through JazzCash or Easypaisa?

Yes. We integrate local wallets and cards for fee collection and match each payment to the member automatically, which removes the manual reconciliation most clubs struggle with.

Can one app serve several clubs?

It can. A multi-club design keeps each club's data, branding and admins separate while sharing one codebase, which suits associations or facility operators running several sites.
