Surveys often touch personal and sensitive topics. We include consent screens, anonymisation options and encryption on the device so a lost phone does not expose respondents.
Data integrity and fraud
Fabricated interviews are a known problem. Timestamps, GPS checks, audio snippets with consent and statistical flags help supervisors detect and discourage them.
Low-end devices and battery
Enumerators work long days on cheap phones. We keep forms light, save progress constantly and limit location polling to conserve the battery.

Common questions, answered
Why not just use an existing survey tool?
Ready-made tools work well for standard forms. A custom app makes sense for specialised workflows, strict data control, local language needs, integration with your systems or branding for a long programme.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Forms download in advance, answers are stored securely on the device and sync automatically once there is a connection. Supervisors see the data as soon as each device uploads.
Can we change a questionnaire during fieldwork?
Yes, with versioning. New versions are pushed to devices while earlier responses keep their original structure, so analysis does not mix incompatible forms.
How do you detect poor-quality interviews?
By combining timing checks, GPS verification, answer-pattern flags and supervisor review of samples. These cues cannot prove misconduct, but they direct attention to the interviews that need checking.
