Software for Islamabad's Real Estate and Housing Societies

Islamabad and its surrounding housing societies run on member files, plot transfers and maintenance billing. DevKey builds the records, dues and portal software behind them, based in the capital.

The trade, and what it needs from software

Real estate around the capital is dominated by planned housing societies, private developers and a busy market of consultants and dealers. Societies manage thousands of members, each with a plot or home file, utility charges and an ongoing relationship with the society office.

What this cluster needs from software is a reliable member and plot register plus billing that members can trust. Society offices handle transfers, possession, NOCs and maintenance dues, and members want to check their own status without visiting. DevKey builds management and portal software from the capital and keeps it aligned with each society's own rules.

How it runs

How the work flows in Islamabad

01

Each member has a file

A member's record holds their allotment, plot details, ownership history and correspondence. Changes in ownership go through a transfer process with fees and approvals by the society office.

02

Dues are recurring

Societies bill members for maintenance, utilities, development charges and sometimes penalties. Collection staff track who has paid and issue statements on request.

03

Services run through the office

Members visit for NOCs, possession letters, building plan approvals and complaints about services. Queues build, and requests often follow no tracked path.

Common problems

Where things go wrong today

Member records are fragmented

Plot data, payments and correspondence sit in different registers, so answering one member's question requires visiting several places.

Dues and penalties disputed

Manual calculation of maintenance and late charges leads to disagreements and complaints at the front desk.

Requests lack tracking

A member submits a request for an NOC or service and then has no way to know where it stands.

Overseas members out of reach

Members living abroad depend on relatives or agents to handle office matters, which adds risk and delay.

Islamabad FAQ

Common questions, answered

Can existing member registers be imported?

Usually yes, from spreadsheets or databases. We clean duplicates and gaps with your office staff, flag records that need verification and load the register so the system opens with data you have confirmed.

Can members pay dues online?

Online payment can be connected through a provider you choose, with receipts generated automatically and matched to the member's account. Counter and bank payments can continue alongside it for members who prefer them.

How do transfers and ownership changes get recorded?

A transfer request moves through defined steps, with required documents, fees and approvals recorded at each stage. The file keeps a complete ownership history, which helps resolve disputes and speeds up verification.

Does it suit a small society as well as a large one?

Yes. We configure only the modules you need, whether that is a straightforward register and billing for a small society or multi-phase management for a large one. You can add modules later as the society grows.
